Now is great time to apply for UK or Aussie Passport & Visas (and Thai Passport)

Now is great time to apply for UK or Aussie Passport & Visas (and Thai Passport)

Recently had to apply for renewal of my son's Thai and UK passports.

First up was a trip to the Thai Passport office at Thanya Park shopping centre on Srinakharin road (near Seacon). Usually there'd be a queue of over a 100 people ahead  - though they process them quickly - but this time it was straight to a counter and all done in 10 minutes. Currently they post the passport because of Covid.

Next up was book an appointment at the British / Aussie passport office in Trendy building. They are only open M, W & F currently. Usually it's super busy and chaotic there, but it was very quiet,  straight up in the lift and to a counter. Counted maybe 5 other people there doing UK passport or visa BUT NOBODY doing Aussie passport or visa. Had to go back to collect, which took less than one month from application till passport collected.

Now is a great time to apply or renew a passport or apply for the wife's UK visa for a future trip.

Wish it was always that quick.

wish foreigners could get a thai passport in 10min just like that ????
