As of 1 Oct 2020 a person can now again send a regular airmail letter from Thailand to the USA.  Like sending a 1 ounce letter via airmail costs Bt40....no need to use expensive EMS which starts around Bt880.

I mailed four items FROm Thailand to the U.S. today, all 12 grams, 30 baht each for international airmail at my ThaiPost office.

What about the other direction?

I was about to post a new topic but may as well post it here.

Reports please if anyone has received a regular airmail postage letter from the U.S. to Thailand in the last 90 days (that wasn't mailed a super long time ago).

Is it fair to assume that mail should be working in BOTH directions now?

I checked the U.S. post website and they say nothing about no service to Thailand.

Reports indicate regular ($1.20) airmail is working FROM the U.S to Thailand. Seen reports here and elsewhere of 14-ish/plus days.

I've got a credit card en route, will report back.
