An event to mark the opening of Hua Hin's first Skate Park will be held on November 20/21st.

The free to use Skate Park is the first of it's kind at the resort and is on Petchkasem Road 62/70.

It will be the location of the "Surf and Skate Jam" event on its opening day.

The event will attract people from the following disciplines: Surf boarders, skate boarders, surf skate, skimboard and "SAP" board (where participants stand on a board and paddle).

Workshops, races and classes are promised with the pros and there will be plenty of well known DJs on hand.

It kicks off on November 20th from 5pm to 9.30pm.

The action moves to Hua Don beach the next day.

I'm looking forward to watching the surf board riders handling the 6 inch ripple of Hua Hin beach!

It's all about technique I gather!

Still, I doubt there will be any spectacular Wipeouts.
