Trump falsely claims victory with votes uncounted, rival Biden confident

Yes, winning Georgia would be huge, and totally unexpected (for me).  However I won't allow myself to get too optimistic.

If I remember correctly Georgia will count military ballots that come in on or before November 10, so the count won't be finished before then.  Once it is complete, it's safe to assume there will be a recount.  This will go on for a while.

Biden is ahead now in Georgia

  • Trump will win the election.  He will win it fair and square.

  • No surprises here, he knows that if he loses and no longer has his presidential immunity before long he will probably be dining with Bernie Madoff on a daily basis.

Let's say 60%. Then out of 15k Biden should get 9K and Trump 6K. A 3K upset, more than enough, though will permit a recount.

Biden has overtaken Trump in Georgia, as per Fox. 1000 votes lead now.

Pennsylvania shall follow suit any minute/hour now, upon similar trend.

There's been plenty to complain about. From cosying up to dictatators

Thart is a good example of what I was referring to .

Trump was faced with NK trying to build nuclear bombs and threatening to use them and firing rockets all over the place and destabilizing the whole region .

Trump did well in defusing the situation, yes he cosied up with Kim , but the alternative would have been waging war with NK and China .

Trump averted a war by diplomacy , sitting down and talking to his foes , and you criticize him for doing so .

Whatever he does or says, you lot will criticise him for it

Like many things Trump, more show than substance in terms of any fleeting accomplishments.

North Korea's nuclear, missile programs 'serious threat' to security: Pentagon chief

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Wednesday said North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs pose a global threat, after Pyongyang’s unveiling of previously unseen intercontinental ballistic missiles at a predawn military parade.

The appearance of a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) during a weekend parade in North Korea captivated many Western analysts. But officials in South Korea were far more concerned by the display of new multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and fast, maneuverable short-range missiles that would be ideal for striking targets in the South.

Growing North Korean nuclear threat awaits US election winner

WASHINGTON — “Where’s the war?” That’s how President Donald Trump defends his North Korea policy at campaign rallies even though he’s joined the list of U.S. presidents unable to stop the ever-growing nuclear threat from Kim Jong Un. That threat will transcend the November election, no matter who wins.

Despite Trump’s three meetings with Kim, the North Korean leader is expanding his arsenal. This month, Kim rolled out a shiny new, larger intercontinental ballistic missile during a nighttime parade in Pyongayng.

Arms experts said the missile could possibly fire multiple nuclear warheads at the United States. It serves as a reminder that despite Trump’s boasts, North Korea remains one of the biggest dangers to U.S. national security.

There has been a lack of friction since Trumps meeting with Kim , the threats and the long range missile testing has ceased , North Korea is still there , but they seemed to have quietened  down since making peace with Trump

Previously unseen intercontinental ballistic missiles have been unveiled, but you say it is quiet there.

South Korea is worried about new rocket launchers, but you say it is quiet there.

Sure

He said Korea posed an existential danger. Since then, they've built missiles that can be launched from submarines and now in intercontinental ballistic missile. So is the threat really lessened?

How should Trump have handled it ?

I thought his meeting Kim Jong un was a very good thing indeed. But averting a war? How? He only did that by not starting one...

Ignored Kim. He got rewarded for his apparently crazy behavior. Oxygen is attention to the North Koreans. He got Trump to back down on maneuvers with the South and Trump agreed that they were a provocation.

Kim and Trump didn't get the illusory deal that they wanted. So each went back to their respective corners, with Kim from all indications moving forward with NK's nuclear weapons program. No great victory for the U.S. or the world there.

As in, from the news report I linked above:

Yes, ignoring him was an option , but he was threatening to Nuke the USA .

That threat needed to be dealt with , and since the meeting , the threats have stopped .

Time to put N.K. to bed, before it further derails this thread about the U.S. presidential election process.

I will stay very much on topic:

Trump knows that the angels will come to his rescue, so he is not claiming anything falsely.

Surely his spiritual adviser / liaison officer with various christian groups can be trusted?

Biden campaign threatens to ‘escort Trump out of White House’ if he refuses to concede election

He will refuse, screaming like a baby.

I may frame this headline and put it on my wall.  I really hope he does refuse to leave.  The image of this racist lying one term con-man being escorted out of the White House kicking and screaming like a child would be delicious.  It would be a footnote on history befitting of his stature.
