  Hello,

I can do what i want, important mails land in my junk folder and even when I mark them as "good mails", it happens agaoin and again.

Now I'm sick and tired and think about using either Gmail or another provider, I already have an account with.

What went wrong that they don't get such easy things work out? Any solution to it? I can mark it as not being spam and the next day the same problem.

Yes, Gmail's junk filter is much better than hotmail/outlook (I've used all 3 for several years), and this has been true for many years.

There's no way to make hotmail better :(

I got rid of Hotmail years ago and so should you. I didn't have access to a PC for a year or so after my divorce and so they deleted my account. You can set up a Gmail account and get any mails from Hotmail diverted to it. Check back now and then, get RID of this junk.

Sorry to hear of your divorce and thanks for the input.

I have a few hotmail accounts and they all work well, even when not being used for a long time.

Then you might have to answer a security question, or similar.

But looking into two folders and marking "good e-mails" just to have them as junk mail again when the next one comes in, can't be it.

I have a Gmail account and will give it a try. Thanks.

Hotmail was okay a while ago. But then it started to do these weird things to save good mails in the spam folder. Most people have other things to do than checking mails in two folders and perhaps oversee a very important one.

They delete junk mails after ten days. Thank you for your input.
