Why more effort has not been placed on border security all along, is mysterious, mind boggling and reeks of suspicion. Many boats should be patrolling the rivers constantly, looking for illegal crossings. That should be a huge priority.

I reckon if immigration or army had to do that, they would just load the boats up with fishing gear for the days shift, doing just that.

TIT.

What a disgrace! Thais have to leave Thailand to find work!

Are you saying that those expat farangs are also a disgrace to leave their motherland and find work in Thailand as well???????

Not entirely sure who this hotel video is aimed at. Quality rooms, conference facilities, extensive quality menu, then a visit by what appears on the face of it, by about a dozen working girls!!

A dozen working girls out of the 100++ that work there. LOL

Agreed, if 6 can jump to 38 infections within a week someone needs to get a grip on crossings sooner rather than later. Looks like Thailand is classically following Europe's ineptitude to halt the spread when its manageable and should be locking those areas down now  before it get completely out of control and spreads across the country. Maybe when they are recording over 200 deaths a day they will wish they had...

The hotel they were working at looks like a bigger and better version of Kinaree. Looks good.

The “Deleux” room looks great.

A ridiculous naive comment.  People leave areas, cities, countries frequently to find work.  Millions worldwide.

No doubt they go through quarantine in times like this, these fine young ladies did no such thing.

Because in Thailand, those activities (officially) DO NOT EXIST.

What surprises me as well that there is no "Customer" infected.

Just the working girls?

Probably this would open another can of worms.

Who are they?

How did they cross the border and came back again without quarantine?

Are there some official holding their hands open to close an eye?

Who are the owners of the hotel? Name them.

Investigative journalism non-existent in Thailand.

In other countries, the press would be all over the place to get a story.

Nobody took any pictures of cars, crossing the border and coming later back.

This would be a nice story.

Meanwhile, the army plans to use drones, equipped with live CCTV

Well, it certainly aint nun camp.

Unclear though is that Burmese work on Koh Tao and are exploited to no end while Thai "entertainers" go to "work" in Burma?

The area is inaccessible to authorities which calls for an extraordinary budget for the purchase of drones over an area which apparently is accessible to everybody else. Since neither Burma nor Thailand has tourism I wonder, who exactly is getting "entertained" in Tachilek.

Best would have been to keep the lid also on this story as it will result only in red ears and embarrassing contradictory statements; nothing new - next please!

The drug lords ., government officials, and chinese are the main customers at the casino.

the whore realized that it is better money than working at a massage parlor in Bangkok.

these whores  ( at 21yrs old or older ) were able to buy condos. and have money to spend.

it is not about that there is no work in thailand working the casino is a good lucrative business.

better than working in Bangkok. For one thing.. these whores do not have to get an apartment or a room to sleep. they sleep with the customers.

Norther border is another world --
