USD Continues to Plunge - Soon Going into 29 Baht Range

The USD continues to plunge. Cash rate in Bangkok this afternoon is 30.06 baht. 2021 forecasts are showing USD to 29 baht range  in early 2021, but might get before year-end.

They want to attract all those high spenders to buy the new 5year at 600k Baht Elite or persuade them to buy the bargain of a century 10 Million baht condo with free Elite visa.

 

They just got it wrong. Instead of making the baht more attractive, they make to USD more attractive for the HISO Thais who want to buy abroad or send their kids to study abroad.

Yep! From it's peak in march, the US$-Index has dropped 12%. It's something one would expect from a "Banana-Republic" currency. But then....

The only way forward for the USD is another war.

Those who use the monthly transfer for their retirement is going to lose quite a lot of exchange currency.

It'll keep weakening whilever they print more with nothing to back it up.
