Cineplex & EGV Cinemas - are they part of the same group?

Just wondering if EGV cinemas are part of the Cineplex group as I noticed on the Cineplex website that Lamphun is called EGV cinema.  If so I wondered whether they have different loyalty schemes or you can use the same one.   

 

Are they differentiating between cinemas for some reason perhaps?

    Maybe hiving off the less profitable ones....

     

     

    I get loyalty points at Cineplex on my Thai Airlines card.
