Where is the "sweet spot" of buying a used car? 1-2-3-4-5 years old? And how long should you keep the car, to minimize value loss? 1-2-3-4-5 years? seems a question anywhere....... and not worthy of a reply...

The Suzuki Swift is much more popular, has the same engine/gearbox but is in a smaller segment. The swift also lacks leather and climate with heater - important in Chiang Rai! 12°C this morning! The Ciaz is a terrible buy new but an excellent buy at 1 year old. Decent inside too. You really cant have 4 people in a swift for very long. My wife has one. I drive it sometimes but the ride is harsh now - think my tires have gone hard. I have a new crv so I guess that doesn't help with the sense of harshness when i get i the swift:) The suzuki is a bit outdated now. They should introduce the booster jet engine here. Most other brands are going to small turbo or hybrid. Puskign my wife the get the city hybrid, but she wants to wait for a couple more years.
