prayut.jpg

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said today he is surprised that he is being implicated in benefiting from illegal gambling activities, as he declared his determination to crack down decisively on the illegal activity.

Speaking on the “Meet the People” podcast, the prime minister vowed to do his best in national administration, for the benefit of all society, and sought their cooperation in solving the country’s various problems.

On illegal gambling, blamed for a cluster COVID-19 infections, the prime minister said that officials do not want the virus to spread further, but he claimed there are some “bad officials” and people offered bribed to them, resulting in the virus outbreak related to such activities.

  • Most are still baffled how you ever got to be PM ????

  • For the benefit of ALL society ? That would certainly be a first for him, and this government, as most things seem to have a tendency to benefit the already rich, as well as feathering the nest o

He strikes me as being the kind of person who is easily baffled.

Now that must be fake news as we all know that everyone is treated the same and fairly when it comes to the law in Thailand.

Just think Red Bull, Ko Tao, watches, mushrooms, all above board.

Just what you want, a former top general and current pm who is easily "baffled".

So, if an employee in the supermarket steals a candy bar, then you go and accuse the boss.

The boss has to make sure that no one can steal anything. If he doesn't do this the employees will take whatever they want.

The money paid for operating illegal gambling dens goes to the local coppers, the poo Yai Baan, Gamnan and Naiyok Orborjor.

Prayut doesn’t need it, he has much bigger and better schemes going on than little gambling dens.

He is living the high life now, in the beginning he still wore his uniform now with the money rolling in from everywhere I remember after a year in office it was reported he already had a billion in some account overseas?  That is a good salary for being a puppet!????

as the small shrimp have to send the larger chunk to their boss, and up & up & up...

how did PM get 300 million baht or more again ?  hard work ?

Isn't his brother something to do with the National Lottery, the most popular method of gambling in the country!  Beats me why this gambling activity is legal if other forms of gambling are illegal! Double standards or what!  Similarly, people are allowed to gamble on the Stock Market!  For goodness sake, legalise all gambling and tax it.

I suspect another smoke screen here for something slightly bigger and more damaging ....

Isn't one of the characters in the Batman movies the Baffler?

Easy !  He had an illegal coup and later voted himself in as a lifelong PM with support from all his ar$e lickers.

Candy bar, Supermarket?? You can't compare corruption to petty theft.
Or if you want compare it to someone walking into a Jewelry shop and stealing everything without resistance.
Wouldn't the person in charge of security be held responsible??

This is your best friend, isn't it?:

No illegal gambling dens in Bangkok, confirms DPM Prawit

You both are in the same gang, aren't you?

Aren't you also in charge of the RTP and the Military?

Still "baffled"?

#He dismissed, as a fake news, a report that the government is to roll out another stimulus package, to give 4,000 baht cash to people affected by the pandemic, saying that the government must spend the taxpayers’ money carefully.#

I guess he means he need that tax payers money for Submarins , Tanks , salary for ca 3600 generals and last not forget the new moon rocket them going to make , im sure the most off the people would like some more food on the table but i guess thats not this junta govermets priority......

Only if he doesn't terminate their employment and they keep stealing candy bars, it's certainly not rocket science to establish the connection between boss and dishonest staff.

So he just answered his own question

Not him but his corrupt officials.

Same can be said for the recent virus spread.

They just gotta make a few Bht to make the car payments

Of course you are being implicated in this. You have never given us any reason to believe you are honest, and that you are doing anything to benefit the average person. Never.

And what about your promise to fight corruption? I doubt if you remember back this far, but when you and your incompetents launched a coup, it was ostensibly to restore law and order, which you accomplished with draconian measures, and to get rid of the rot, and corruption in immigration, the police, customs, the government, and at the highest levels, which you never even made the slightest attempt to do. You substituted 10 foot alligators, with 14 foot crocodiles. And you have spent your entire six years protecting the elite, those in office, the army, the police, those who are connected, and the super wealthy. For God's sake, you could not even bring the Dark Tao killer to justice, nor the Red Bull creep. Again, busy protecting the wealthy with all of your power.

The real problem is, you will not go after any of these guys. Not the top bankers, not the high ranking guys, not the provincial authorities, and certainly not the army, or the police. They are all corrupt beyond imagination. And the level of corruption simply escalates, the further up the food chain you go. As far as most of us are concerned, everything is the same. The police and army are not expected to be honest, and they are not expected to engage in law enforcement, traffic or public safety, on any level. It is an irrevocably broken and dysfunctional system. Any hyperbole to the contrary, is just a smoke screen, intended to deceive the most naive amongst us.

Now, in this time of desperation, with your nation needing you more than ever before, where on earth are you? What have your proposed? Where are the solutions? How are you going to rescue the economy, and the millions who are out of work? Where is the meritocracy? Why are you always picking from the bottom of the barrel, when it comes to appointments? Why do you insist on people with no experience? Sheer cronyism? The nation does not need or want that nonsense. Grow up. Be a man. Behave like a man.

There are at least a dozen good reasons why you should be removed from office.

Is he also baffled by allegations that he said there will be no coup, or only recently saying there will be no lockdown and countless other lies.  It would seem he is permanently baffled and that's why he and his soldiers are making such a mess of trying to run the country.

He should get his soldiers all rounded up and dispatched back to their barracks and parade grounds, and allow an actual government voted in by the people to govern the country.

What more is there to say?

However, trust your tracks are well covered as attitude adjustment and correction come to mind ????

I was told many years ago by a girl who had worked in a casino in Bangkok and I thought mom and pop type and she said no, the real deal with proper roulette tables etc. She said there were many in Bangkok she new of: they were run by Army/military and police. I asked if they ever got raised and she said yes but always told well in advance. This was when someone was head of the army. You dont become billionaires of a modest salary however these guys all manage to surpass all their salaries, pay for millions for their promotions.

And the only way to do that is to strip search everyone at end of shift. Do you think that will work?
