Please can anyone advise?

Came up to KK on the 28 November with my wife from Pattaya.  on an emergency her dad looked as though he was dying

Since then we have been up here looking after him

I now need to go back to our home in Pattaya to get Some much needed personal stuff, collect our other vehicle and return to KK to continue to help my wife take care of her very I'll Papa

What do I need to do, do I have to apply for any permissions to enter Bangla mung where we live

Will I have to do 14 days quarantine on my return to KK

I intend to fly down to Bkk
Will the airline need any special permission?

I would think they would let you in no worries but you would need permission to leave. A way to tell would be if you could ascertain whether the Ekkamai to Pattaya bus is running. Do you have someone who can go to the Pattaya north bus depot and ask.

The way from Bangkok to Pattaya should be clear...a friend taxied from Bangkok to Patts and back yesterday (Monday) and wasn't stopped once at any checkpoints (there weren't any).

I came to Pattaya from Sa Kaeo province yesterday by private car to Bangkok, and then by private airport taxi to Pattaya. We saw a few unmanned checkpoints between Sa Kaeo and Chaochaengsao but none on the motorway between Suvarnabhumi and Jomtien. We breezed right in. Things are pretty quiet here, but lots of people walking on the pavement along the Dongtan beach road before sunset. If one were flying as the poster plans to do, it is probably different- with at least airport checks on departure if not on arrival.

I would at least expect to see some checks at the SaKaeo end for illegal Cambodian entries!

I went to our local Amphur (district office) yesterday and explained my predicament.

 

The officer was very helpful and filled in the form for me  that I needed  for the trip that was written in Thai an d not English.

 

I intend coming down to BKK Suvarnabhumi  soon, the airline did not question if I had such authority to come when they accepted the online booking,  bearing in mind the comments of various posters who have travelled regularly recently between Bangkok and Pattaya I do not see any issues. (I hope)
