Scottish nationalists set for record majority, boosting independence push

Much better than the EU. Even the Germans agree the UK have done a much better job. It just seems the Scottish nationalists on here would never admit to that.

Many, many on here have already said that the UK did a very good job, er better is doing a very good job, with vaccinations. With Covid handling in general not so much though. So your statement is incorrect on all 3 points.

And yet after all this time you have never provided a single anti English quote from either a poster on here or indeed from the SNP.

Instead you link to an article by Sadiq Khan in which he claims (without providing any evidence) of racism in the SNP and goes on to rail at the UK as a whole for its institutionalised racism.

You have trumpeted this lie about anti English sentiment for years Vogie.

Either give evidence or give it up.

I have gave evidence on many of occasions, you do seem to be very forgetfull at times Rookie.

Going by the attitude of the few Scottish Independence posters here, it seems that Scottish Independence largely boils down to a general dislike/hatred of the English.

When I was growing up, I always considered Scotland and Wales to be "regions" of England, and I don't mean any offence by that.

Perhaps from the Scottish point of view, the other nations are seen as "regions" of England too.

I don't see that general dislike from the Scots of the English on here.

But you do very well indicate the problem: the English consider Scotland and Wales to be regions of England, in other words: the UK is dominated and ruled by England.

Better get your girdle tightened then. I keep this on hand for whenever you repeat your cowardly move of falsely accusing others of the behaviour which you exhibit.

How can I acknowledge something that  you cannot present? I mean if you were able to show the sort of nasty racism and xenophobia that your beloved Brexit is utterly saturated in then you may have a point. As usual, however, you can't.

The truth is, Vogie, only one of the two us has form when it comes to endorsing hate messages about countries in the British Isles - and it isn't me.

If we are going to talk about trumpeting lies, and evidence, just what do a random selection of photos (send them back and gallows) have to do with "Vogie", or for that matter a photograph (repeated in an obvious if unsubtle attempt to link) of Mr Farage laughing whilst holding a pint outside a pub.

Do you have any "evidence" that Vogie was in any way linked to those people?  Of course you don't. Do you have any evidence that Garage was laughing at either the racists or wannabe lynchers?  Of course you don't. The suggestion that they do is a blatant lie.

You should withdraw the suggestion you have made. Several posts ago you were talking about people being cowards ; show you are not one then, withdraw.

No you have not. Not a single one.

I however do recall a Brexiteer calling me a traitor and you voted his comment up.

And yet the suggestion that supporters of Scottish independence and the SNP are racists and anti English is allowed to continue with ZERO evidence to substantiate it?

Good god, have I wandered into an episode of the Comedians? It would certainly explain a few things...

The cowardly hit and hide inference, used repeatedly by Brexiteers on these posts is that Scottish independence is insular and hating of others. The truth is the polar opposite, of course, but the irony is that the reason the vast majority of people in Scotland want independence is because of the racist Brexit that Vogie has spent much of his time on this forum defending. It isn't really that difficult if you put your mind to it.

How convenient, you don't recall a fellow nationalist calling Scots traitors that don't vote SNP, nice try at deflecting though?

I hope Humza Yousaf doesn't see a post I liked, could be 10 years in Barlinnie for such an act, pathetic!

No I dont recall anyone on here calling anyone a traitor EXCEPT for Brexiteers.

How would a Scot calling other Scots traitors, as pathetic as it is, be classed as anti-English?

I would warn you to watch out for splinters but you are already through the bottom of the barrel.

Well I do, it would appear that my memory is a tad more reliable than thine.

Well I remember personally being called a traitor by a Brexiteer and you voting it up. But it seems only you can recall the huge number of anti English and racists posts made by supporters of independence and the SNP?

Why all these references to my memory? You had a private message from an Everton supporter by any chance?

It is all part and parcel of being hyperbolic, the SNP thrives on it and even some members on here.

But I realise that the present situation within the corrupt SNP cannot be easy for you, so in that case I am willing to make allowances for this, but don't kick the backside out of it.

I wouldn't worry, if this lot end up running an independent Scotland - which admittedly seems quite probable - and if the way they carry on here is anything to go by, there may be quite a long waiting list for places in Barlinnie for their opponents!

Have you evidence of me liking yet 'another' post.

This from a Brexiteer? ????

We chatted extensively about it at the time Vogie. Have you forgotten?

Seems thy memory is not as infallible as thou would wish to believe then.

Actually I would put money on the SNP breaking apart after independence.

Can see it fracturing into at least two maybe three different parties.

Unless you are being very economical with the truth, it would put my mind at rest if you show me exhibit 'B', exhibit 'A' already in use.

So you do not remember the extensive conversation we had over some Brexiteer calling me a traitor?

And you question my memory? ????

I'll take that as an imaginary memory lapse and exhibit 'B' doesn't actually exist.

I try not to be too extensive with certain posters rookie.????

Right so your memory is so poor you cant remember having a lengthy conversation with me about someone calling me a traitor BUT you can remember the huge number of anti English posts here on TVF that no-one else is able to recall.

Aye right.

Thanks I do know the difference between a  regional and national referendum.

As I am not a resident in Scotland I am not eligible to take part in any of the Scottish regional referendum.

But as a British citizen living in the UK I did take part in the 2016 EU  referendum national  referendum

Please explain how that along with your previous post relates to the point in question.

"When 85% of a sample is from the same source, the outcome is effectively predetermined, "

More tangents than a fruit stall. Time to stop digging.

Wales voted to leave.  So that makes it half of the UK nations.

Wrong, 2 nations voted to leave and 3 to remain.

I accept the fact the 5 nations that participated in the referendum did so on a cultural basis as opposed to a legal one.

The fact that 4 smaller nations are dictated to by a much larger nation due to historical events does not make it right.

In other circles it would be termed bullying.

Corrupt, who are we talking about Nichola Sturgeon or all politicians.

Theresa May and Boris Johnson were found by the court to have committed unlawful acts. When did any court, other than the LG court, find NS guilty?
