Would anyone buy a house for their girlfriend like that in the UK?

I didn't know it at the time, but I bought a 600,000 pound house for my wife in the UK.

The divorce judge just put it in her name at the end, same with all my pals.

A few of my pals that didn't have kids only lost 50% of the house, but their wives got to live in the house and drag their heels on the sale for up to five years, none of their women contributed a dime to the house purchase.

The only home ownership protection for a man in the west is not having a woman live in it with you. If you must co-habit, best to rent, or live with your parents, they can't give your partner your landlords or your parents house.
