damian5000 Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Where should a Thai national go to get a passport in Chiang Mai? I've heard City Hall on Mae Rim Road, but this is pretty broad, don't have the address... and Temporary Passport Office Chiang Mai Provincial Center Thanon Chodtana Tambon Chang Phueak Amphor Mueang CHIANG MAI Tel. 0-5389-1535-6 Fax. 0-5389-1534 Not sure if these are still valid or "easiest". Any suggestions appreciated...
ovenman Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 The passport office is located at the address you gave, which is in the big provincial administration complex, left-hand side of Highway 107 (Chotana Rd.) going north towards Mae Rim just beyond the junction for the middle ring road.
Shah Jahan Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 To make it easy- just go down Changpuak road (to mae rim) Its the HUGE goverment office complex on the left (it almost looks like a palace) The whole process took us about 50 minutes and cost around 1000 baht Passport arrived in the mail within a week
