  • Who will control the one by one? Are you happy to pay for the administration? Security guard to stand by the pool? A queue or booked appointments? How will you coordinate that throughout the province?

That whole public/private thing was started last lockdown, but was not really the case. I'm on the committee at my condo, and we called City Hall during both lockdowns, and were instructed to close the pool. Public means shared across households, which is the case in a condo. And while you deride the manager for following the law, it's the manager and the committee that would face the fines and possible jail terms, not you.

That's complete opposite of what they told our condo! We stayed open.

To be honest, this is why I was sceptical at the manager closing down our pool. When the cops want to tell the bars to close on a Buddha Day or other holiday, they don't phone them up, they distribute an official letter, so why wasn't something similar done in the case of ordering condos and villages to close their swimming pools? Lots of people say they were forced to close, while others say they could stay open, if I'd been on the committee I'd have asked for something in writing from City Hall.

You got a different person on the line, different person, different answer.
