Windex windows cleaner to clean birds poops and tree sap on car ?

hello, Windex seems to work the best to clean poops and tree saps on car, and it's very cheap. Some people pretend to know that it's not safe for car paint but I call this BS from people who repeat what has been told to them to be sure that they buy something more expensive.

I bought some special scamproducts to remove tar and poops, even tried wd40 as the lobbying from the brand push people to repeat again and again, but nothing works as well as Windex until now.

What else do you use that is not overprice and also safe ?

I am trying to find a detailing spray that will remove all the xhit from the car and at the same time "wax" it, but cannot find it. Any idea ?

Thanks team !

Bird poop and Tree sap are 2 fundamentally different contaminants and should be cleaned using different chemicals. Bird poop use a soap/surfactant detailing spray, let it soak, then gently lift it off with a cloth. For tree sap, use a petroleum or solvent, like the WD40 you mention, or 3M bug and tar remover. It will dissolve the sap, and you wipe off the chemical, then wash the area with a soap to remove the petroleum residue, and wax again.

Some Bird Poop can be really bad news, other bird poop can just be bad news. On a hot day and on a hot bonnet if left on it could mark the clear coat.

I check my car every day... to remove the poop wet some toilet tissue (unused is best) and place it over the poop. Check a few minutes later to see if it can now be wiped off.. if not repeat.

I have tried and Windex really works well it seems. Why nobody use it ? Because it's too cheap ? 555... car addicts are so funny, they always feel better when they spend more even if it's totally useless. Example: wax or coating.

if you knew what $hit car wash places use, you would understand that Windex is already better !

yes it's so funny that people believe that any car wash is good in Thailand, with people having an IQ lower than a cockroach working there...
