Device to measure how much power an appliance is drawing

Featured Replies

In the UK I had a small intermediate socket thing which plugged into the wall socket, and you plugged the appliance into that, and it showed you how much power was being drawn. I can't find these on Lazada, maybe because I don't know what they are called so I can't search too well. Can anyone help me to identify ?

Thanks !

I used to see them all the time, and I bought mine from one of the mall kiosks that sell extension cords.  It wasn't something I was looking for, but I picked one up when I saw it calling to me from the shelf...

Mine was the BigC mall on Rama 4, but they're all over.

OK, if I'm out and about tomorrow I'll keep any eye out.

Yes agree it will support plug in of 3 pin plug - can see in this link.  But seems to block ground to normal Thai outlets so should not be use for more than short test.

No I know what to search for... Maybe this one as it has three prongs not just two like the one above

The one in my link was just the first I found after I tried a few keywords. I have no idea if it's good.
