Popular Post MikeyIdea
You're lucky, the Forza is too heavy to carry around ???? I'm lazy so I only use a sturdy disk brake lock with alarm. For an expensive bike, I think it should be complimented by a sturdy EU approved wheel lock, they're 5 to 10,000 baht or so on Lazada. There are cheaper local ones for around 1,000 baht or so too. Not as good obviously. I have one but I'm too lazy to use it Edited March 14, 2021 by MikeyIdea
Popular Post canthai55
Buy First Class Insurance. Keep policy valid No market for a stolen Forza - or any big bike here mostly. No one with any sense would buy it if the green book can not be transferred into their name. A Wave - on the other hand - has a ready market in neighboring countries. Popular Post scubascuba3
PITA locking bikes up, just get 1st class insurance until you don't care anymore 2
Popular Post Moonlover
The Forza is keyless isn't it, so you don't have much to worry about. That makes them all but impossible to ride off with. It also means that the ignition switch cannot be replaced without knowing the keycode. Their relative rarity would also make them an unattractive steal. Ride on with confidence and enjoy.
Popular Post Kwasaki
As said thieves target Waves and Click scoots and alike and KX Kwacka bikes in Bangkok was the last report I saw. I had my CRF insured for 2 years after that they wouldn't cover it for thieft so get a good company to cover. Don't be complacent about thieft if you live Bangkok with whatever bike or scoot would be my advice.

Popular Post ChipButty
About 12 years ago I bought my wife her first ever bike, Yamaha Fino still had the red plate on it when it got nicked, she was gutted. The boy that nicked it had a bad accident ran into the back of a Jazz and went though the back window he had changed the plate off another Fino which was a different colour so he was in even bigger trouble, We got paid 50,000 baht to buy a new one Edited March 14, 2021 by ChipButty

Wazoo
All saying first class insurance.. I used to have it. Did not renew for second year as was told you will never get more than 50% of cost of bike even if its a day old. Worth looking into.

Useful if the bin is full. This is a common feature of most scooters.

You also know that keyless cars are most stolen in the west right and that they have keyreaders they use to steal them . Same case with bikes . But that's the west . Since i have been in thailand i never locked my bike anywhere but ok maybe these days it's different people having no money left because of covid . Lock it or look for paid parking .
