Package from Khon Kaen to UK - alternatives to DHL or IONIC

Featured Replies

Can anyone suggest a cheaper but reliable forwarding agent than those above.
I live in Banphai and have seen IONICS vehicles here but can't find local agent or alternative company.

IONICS shipping rates have increased by 5% since last July.

About every 6 months I send hair products ( shampoos / conditioners ) to a daughter in the UK.   Package weight 7kg as I believe is maximum allowed by DHL.
Crazy but the particular brand, made in India, is not available in the UK other than through Amazon etc. who often don't have or take weeks to deliver.
My daughter has to pay duty in the UK but even then it is much cheaper than ordering from a company like Amazon.

I did this once some years ago with a small parcel of clothes.
My daughter had to go to Gatwick to open the package and pay tax.

Have sent a number of packages by DHL and never a problem but they are expensive, my daughter still had to pay tax.      The items were hair care products.

Prices have gone up 5% whilst service charge has gone up 30%.
