Is COE REQUIRED for...

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a one year work permit with multiple re-entry permission. I need to go, back to US from Phuket to Seattle to pick up my dog to bring back to Phuket. I was planning on just spending a week in the US. Do I still need an embassy issued COE to return? One week is not enough time to get a COE from a Thai embassy in US - they want 15 business days. Thanks so much

That is going to be a long trip to get your dog as you need a COE and quarantine in ASQ when you arrive here.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, it is a long complicated way to bring my dog back, but he will be traveling in cabin with me so few alternatives. I did find out that another COE is needed.

Yes, but you can apply for it in advance.

Do you have someone here to look after him on arrival? No ASQ/ALQ I've seen so far allow pets (quite a few people have asked).

Is this serious!

Just curious. How does that work. I'm serious. So Fido sits next to you on flight?

Never seen a pet on plane or airport apart from security sniffer dogs.
