Is there an equivalent  like  Wurldomatter that  measures  cynicism, depression, optimism, pessimism, nudism, nurdism , or  any other  measurable  foible of the  inhuman  mentality?

Back  soon !  Gonna  copyright that  concept !

As this article does not tell us what the base figure which has shown a 150% increase is; then it is meaningless.

Last year they had 100,000, then this year 250,000. Last year 10, this year 25.

It's just TATtery under another name!

2020 - 1 couple, 2 tourists.

2021 - 5 tourists

whopping 150% increase

Very true.

Surprisingly it's not a TAT article but TUI, so surely you'd expect a more competently written article.

Yes, I expected better - maybe a sign of equal desperation/avoiding inevitable conclusions in the Scandinavian travel business as well?

I think the TVF " likes" system fulfills that function quite well...

Seems to be some conflation between "interest" and "bookings"?

Note that "bookings" do not always equal completed trips and revenue.

Finally, ginning up interest calls for creative marketing. Keeping up with the Jones-sons is apparently a factor Sweden too. Space filling up, book your trips now.

You beat me to it, yep more meaningless figures, they have had to resort to percentages as the numbers are so very low.

Yes, great idea, book your holiday for next winter when the next wave of Covid with lots of interesting new mutations will be getting into gear, and Thailand can drop its quarantine requirements completely just in time to greet them all. What could possibly go wrong, lol?
