Registration of SIM cards bought online (Lazada etc)

Featured Replies

How/where do you register/activate a SIM card that has ben bought online from the likes of Lazada etc.

Do any come pre registered/activated or do you have to take them to some head office or will the local 7/11 do the business?

Depends on who you buy from and what telecommunications provider you've gone with. From what I've seen, some you pop into the shop to activate, some the person you buy from can activate for you, some you can activate online.

Many of them have 100s of reviews, it will be mentioned in the reviews but also in the details

Any of the dedicated AIs/dtac/true shops will do it, or you can do it yourself using the phone app for the card.

Selfie + passport data page photo all done in the app, very easy.

I didn't know yet that it's possible with an app, but you can also just take the sim card to a shop of the respective provider, an employee there will activate it for you.
