Anyone know who you contact to get onto or find out about this?

I'm just finishing my aquaponics project greenhouse set up so I'd like to find out more about the growing medical marijuana for the hospitals.

Visit your local ministry of Public health headquarters. I believe it comes under FDA. The contact point in my province is the MoPH  Consumer protection department.

 

I'm being told the only people making money so far are the ones selling seeds. ????

I am not sure foreigners are allowed to grow it but maybe someone else knows for sure.

"At present, individuals are not allowed to farm cannabis and hemp unless they register themselves as a community enterprise. Each group must have at least seven members and must have contact with a local hospital, including small-scale Tambon Health Promotion Hospitals (THPH)."

Never did smoke the stuff or do drugs. Too busy playing football. I just don't even remember it being around (even though it must have been, because in Australia it used to grow wild and they made rope and bags and things out of hemp). But everyone used to smoke cigarettes then.

Unfortunately it will be a job that only Thai's can do.

Wait until you hear reports of Thai people actually doing it. Until then it's just more white noise. 

 

You'll just be chasing your tail. If you try you'll quickly realize that there are no authorities who can tell you how to begin because they won't know themselves. Some will fabricate a lot of gibberish to avoid losing face.

Not quite the Anutin promise that every family in Thailand will be able to grow 6 plants and that cannabis will be a common household plant just like other Thai herbs.  Yeppers.  When pigs fly.

In many places in the countryside it is a household plant. The business part doesn't really work though. To difficult to get permission to grow.

Well can only try. My wife has a good assortment of police as neighbours so could be a gang of 7 here and neighbours. At least that should improve their Karaoke singing.
