To my knowledge it's only males that have to be or convert to Islam to marry a Muslim. In Saudi western non Muslim women can marry a Muslim man, but the children have to be brought up as Muslims.

I agree. There are thousands of farangs in Thailand who complain all the time that Thais don't understand English and things are just not like back home.

I moved to Thailand because I didn't like it back home.

I assume the Syrian (sic) refugees in the UK moved because they didn't like it back home either.

 

Beats me why anyone would jump countries, then complain it wasn't like back home.

If you liked it back home so much, why not go and live there?
