The only 50's song I could find was Richard Berry in 1957 the song was Louie Louie.

You can listen if you google it and it comes up on Utube.

“ I’m the guy who found the lost chord “ - Jimmy Durante

an excerpt:

”

People said I was mad. but that didn't trouble me
They said Mozart was mad
They said Puccini was mad
They said Louis was mad
Who's Louis? My uncle, he was mad!
So let's celebrate I'm feeling great
I'm the guy that found the Lost chord “

I do like a crackling bottle of rose wine if that helps , helps me but maybe I need help.

It was my poor attempt at humour:

But am with you on the wine, in my drinking days a bottle of Portuguese Rosé  on a U.K. summers day was heaven.

Who is Crutch?

Roger is a nice guy who lives here since forever. He also wrote a book about his life. He traveled over land from the UK to Thailand - about 50 years ago.
