Popular Post webfact Posted April 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 22, 2021 Picture: Manager Up to 2,000 US soldiers are expected to visit Pattaya in August for R&R upon completion of the Cobra Gold military exercise. A meeting was held at Pattaya City Hall on Wednesday between representatives from The US military, embassy and municipal officials. The meeting was to establish security protocols and COVID-19 preventive measures for when the soldiers arrive. The soldiers will land at Bali Hai pier with security forces patrolling the area around the clock. All soldiers who arrive in Pattaya will have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, while more than 70 percent of the population in Banglamung, which includes Pattaya, will have been vaccinated by the time they arrive, Manager reported. According to Capt Matt Barker, naval attaché at the US embassy in Bangkok, Pattaya was chosen for the soldiers R&R as it is well known for its wide range of amenities, natural beauty and delicious food. With the lack of tourists in the resort due to COVID-19, the arrival of the soldiers should provide a small, but not insignificant boost to the local economy. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2021-04-22 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 15

Popular Post Cake Monster Posted April 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 22, 2021 IMHO the whole thing is a disgrace. The Yanks and Thais can surely put off playing War Games for one Year during the Pandemic. 4

What good will in return has there been? Instead, buddying up to Xi every opportunity it seems. BTW: Thailand delayed doing anything, then purposely decided to go with China’s vaccine, maybe they should step up and BUY more quality vaccines and ensure proper distribution. 2
