The biggest culprit here is Yahoo. The other two email addresses I use are my Hotmail and Gmail, with them I only need to click on to the email address and password, but when I try to sign in Yahoo, the other two browser email addresses appear, but not the Yahoo one, I always have to print my email address in full.

Anything I can do to get my Yahoo email address to appear so I just have to click on to it?

Add your Yahoo and GMail addresses to your Hotmail/Outlook account in Mail. Then they will (should) all open up there.

It seems you use webmail and not something like Outlook, correct?

Maybe at some stage you clicked something like "don't save this password, don't remind me" after you entered your password. If that is the case tell us which operating system and which browser you use and we should find an answer - or just google it yourself with that information.

I.e. google something like: edge does not save passwords

I don't even know what webmail is. If it's any help, I even have to sign in to the Thaivisa forum every time. it

s a real nuisance.

I'm afraid that doesn't work. All I want to do is sign in to Yahoo without having to print my email address every time, similar to what I do with my password, and my Hotmail and Gmail accounts

Ok, which operating system and browser do you use?

I.e. Windows 10, FireFox or something like that

Do you use this on a desktop PC or notebook or on a tablet or smart phone? Which one?

I use mostly Windows10 on an all in one desktop PC.

The "new" browser in Windows 10 in Edge.

If you use that one here is a description to make sure your passwords are not cleared when you close it.

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/153307-turn-off-clear-browsing-data-close-microsoft-edge-chromium.html

Maybe have a look at other settings in that area.

Maybe you can also find a video on YouTube about this. Search for something like: Edge save passwords

You should be able to set your passwords only once and they computer remembers them forever.

But as far as I know there are a couple of options to allow or disallow that. It might be difficult to find all those settings.

The passwords is not the problem, it is my yahoo email address, I have to print it out everytime I want to log into it.

Why should my other two email addresses keep appearing when I want to log in to Yahoo? It happens on my laptop also.

To me it is just a computer being a computer.

I will tempt the  Devil !

Install a side by side  OS of  Linux . (Lite even ! ) It works well  with (dare I say ? Firefox too )

Windows is a cluster flog of issues.

How many have success in even maintaining  a bluetooth connection ?

I have read a response from a Windows Platform designer who claims that issue is  due to the Bluetooth device producers  not  ensuring a  compatibility with Windows !

So why do such devices have no issues with other platforms?

Microsoft continues to try to be both cart and horse but can't decide which is in the front !

The sync function on even an Android device simply syncs things such as your contacts, documents, and contacts to certain services such as Google, Facebook, and the likes. The moment the device syncs, it simply means that it is connecting data from your Android device to the server.

Yahoo is non preferred to your alternative accounts but you are not being told that  yet !

But encouraging dissatisfaction is a methodology that works.

Would a password manager help.  I use Bitwarden.

It's good that you use a password manager but in this case I doubt it would make a difference.

If you have more than one login for a site, double-clicking on the field that wants your login should reveal a drop-down list of all your logins.

Are you using Chrome browser in incognito mode?  If so try it from a regular window, incognito sometimes makes pw manager weird.

What I dislike about the chrome browser (if that's what you are using) is that it phones home to Google Intergalactic Headquarters whenever you start it up.  I don't see any reason for that.  The Edge browser, as far as I'm concerned, is now the default Win browser which will make it the hacker's delight that IE was.

OP, try this:

go to portableapps .com and download portable Firefox.  Install it in a place that has nothing to do with any of your other programs.  These portable versions keep all your data in that same directory, so it will NOT read any other login data, or write such data, anywhere else on your system.  When you want to remove it no need to uninstall, just delete the whole subdirectory and it's all gone.

So use Firefox to log into all of the sites you're having the problems with (yeah, you'll have to type in your data) and check they have all been saved to FF's password manager (three horizontal lines in the top-right corner, then "Logins and passwords").  BTW, you can copy & paste from your other browser.
