Maybe they live in an area where there is a possibility of catching covid. 

 

*suffer from underlying illnesses,

 

*need to visit high risk area's for work or essential reasons on a regular basis. 

 

*have work colleagues or friends/family who visit high risk areas and could then pass it on to them. 

 

Its is not always possible to eliminate the risk by social distancing and masks alone.

 

Vaccines as soon as possible is the best course of action. However if you want to wait for a better choice then thats fine also but I hope that explains why someone would choose not to wait and want it as soon as possible.
