Massage lady shot dead by minivan driver - he kills himself as both are found dead in bed

Ayutthaya police were called to the old town area in Horrantachai sub-district after a report that two people had been found dead in a rented room. 

 

The building had been locked from the inside and the air-con was still on.

 

In bed lying in a pool of blood was 47 year old Rojanee and 51 year old Worapong. They were in each others arms.

 

Both had head wounds from a gunshot. There was a Thai made gun in the right hand of Worapong. There was no sign of a struggle, Daily News reported.

 

It was assessed they had been dead 2-3 days. There was a lot of dried blood.

 

A friend of the lady said that she was a popular and attractive employee at a local traditional Thai massage shop. Her boyfriend was a minivan driver. 

 

She said that she had not turned up for work since Tuesday and phone calls and Line messages had gone unanswered so she came to see the landlord who opened the room with the spare key. 

 

She said that her friend had wanted to end the relationship but the boyfriend would not. 

 

Pol Col Ekkarat Uncharoen of the Ayutthaya provincial police said it was being treated as a murder suicide.

 

Police were gathering more witness statements and looking at CCTV to confirm their theory.

Too many of these stories. 

 

If a Thai woman wants to end a relationship she should either arm herself or even better , move away without giving a forwarding address, change phone number and end all social networking.

 

Both a bit drastic but better than ending up a victim .

Most rooms / houses can be locked easily from the outside to look like they are locked from the inside unless a specific type of deadbolt type of lock. Or, lock the dead bolt and exit through a window etc.

 

Hopefully the Police check for gunpowder residue on the hands of he deceased male (holding the gun).

 

 

Arm-Chair detective work done !!....  So sad to see innocents killed so easily.

this really is the downside to relationships on a deep level........when they go bad,  i guess our brain goes from great to horrible.  a few typical catalysts.....  love, money, kids, or a combination......

 

even if it was another guy (likely a guy), still likely over money or love....

 

47 and 51.  not young.   goes to show, emotions run deep at all ages.  wish we could just click the "mai bpen rai" button in our brains......
