I am currently into few days of overstay and i have to go to my Embassy to make a new passport and flight out the Kingdom. As i am on overstay the Embassy will release the passport without any problems? If yes what's the next step? Going to the airport with both passports? Pages on my old passport are not full. Really appreciate any suggestion. Thank you to all.

The embassy will not be concerned or care about the overstay.

Why are you getting a new passport?

After getting a new passport you can to the airport and show both passports to the airline and immigration.

Because when i find the plane ticket on a reasonable price, the passport will expire 9 days before.

Apparently you should of gotten a new passport long ago.

Are you aware of how long it will take to get a new passport? For some countries it takes a long time to get one.

You are totally right, but some problems( money first of all) makes me delay.

I am registered with the R.F.E.E and the Embassy should takes three to seven days to issue a new passport

What is your nationality, many countries will accept their people to return with ID cards or passport expired for a given period.

As stated on the Embassy's website (and translated from French to English courtesy of Google since my schoolboy French as a Brit is, alas, not up to much these days):-

“In Thailand, in addition to the time required to obtain an appointment (between three and four weeks during peak periods), it takes three to four weeks to receive at the embassy the passports which are printed in France. The slots are open for a period of 30 days.”

then scroll down to the 4th question (When to apply? as per the Google English translation)

In these circumstances might it not be better for you to apply for an emergency temporary passport from the Embassy? If your application is accepted they will issue this on the spot, according to their website:-

As advised above, get an emergency travel document. Make sure you have money for the overstay fine, and allow some extra time at the airport.

If not using a direct flight, ensure you can satisfy Covid restrictions at the connecting airport(s) as well as those of your airline.

One additional point: if booking a cheap future flight to save money, this may be false economy. The flight is liable to be cancelled, and you will have trouble getting your money back.
