May 23, 20214 yr Hi, Am I right in thinking that there is no Insurance requirement for a 12 month Non -O - Imm, 12 month extension application ? Cheers.
May 23, 20214 yr There is no insurance requirement to apply for a extension of stay based upon retirement if you started out with a non-o visa entry.
May 23, 20214 yr OP, no insurance required for non O extensions for both marriage and retirement. Non O-A extensions require insurance for retirement but not required for extension based on marriage. Edit: op, I just noticed another of your threads and now realize that you have obtained your non O outside of Thailand and planing to travel to Thailand. You best check with an expert @ubonjoe if in that situation you require insurance or not for your COE. I assumed you were already in Thailand and just checking requirements for extension.
May 23, 20214 yr OP, My understanding is that if you obtain a new non O (retirement) outside of Thailand ie UK then you need to obtain insurance for 3 months to cover your 90 days permit of stay. After that for your 12 month extension you will not require insurance.
May 23, 20214 yr Author I am in UK now, I got the non o visa for 90 days, I am planning on staying full time now in Thailand ,
