I need to get the COVID extention for a tourist visa, My visa finished today but I didn't realise that the office was closed, will this be a problem if I go tomorrow?

 

What documents are required? Has it been busy lately?

Go tomorrow.  Shouldn't be a problem.  The punishment will be that immigration is usually busier the days before and after a holiday.   Also, you can expect that it will be very busy with others seeking covid extensions (which were scheduled to not be sold beyond the end of this month).

The usual copies of your passport are needed.  Pretty much everything you needed last time you got a covid extension, including pictures, TM-7, and the specific covid form you can get at immigration.  They don't seem to be overly interested in why you want a covid extension as long as you can pick one or more of the necessary reasons you want one.  They don't seem to be asking for embassy letters, or confirmation that an embassy doesn't provide letters.
