BANGKOK, May 31 (TNA) – The Private Hospital Association has not set the start of COVID-19 vaccination with the Moderna vaccine as it is waiting for details about an available amount and the time of its import from the United States.

Dr Chalerm Harnphanich, chief executive officer of Bangkok Chain Hospital (BCH) and president of the association, said the association was waiting for the price of the vaccine and the import schedule by Zuellig Pharma that represented Moderna in Thailand.

He expected the Government Pharmaceutical Organization to conclude this week the price including logistics.

upsa daisy, chinese do have many on offer, some 5.

one with 15% shares from the second richest thai family.

the ISOC (Internal Security Operations Command) spokesman

"Maj Gen Thanathip Sawangsang, spokesman for the Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc), said Isoc will roll out a public relations campaign to educate the public about the vaccination programme."

quotation from bangkok post 21.5.

They have started already their work, multiple examples from the social media.

That includes distortion of New York Times article from 5.02 about chinese and russian vax.

As many thai don't read english and won't be paying for paywall, the unintelligent operation tries to put 4 chinese vax before all other.

Clearly, thai junta don't fancy american vax, as they are not  that profilable.

Moderna won't coming for long.

Pfizer probably never.

Just all talk then, like the AZ roll-out.

Are you below 18? That's who Pfizer will be reserved for.

Obviously I will pay for my jab, I don't expect to receive Pfizer from the government program

I'm so glad I didn't wait for these bozos to act.

I get my second shot in Arizona tomorrow

Ditto.

The wife and I spent the entire pandemic in Thailand but got fed up with the vaccine situation early May. We get our second Pfizer shots in Massachusetts on Friday.

This guy is giving you much better information on the actual status than any of the government spokespeople.

Anyway if the Vaxart oral vaccine gets approved before I can get a vaccination here I will have my family try and mail me some.  But it looks like Vaxart will be towards the end of this year too.  Just starting Phase 2 trials now.

Was considering the same. Plane tickets are affordable. Hotels in SF for 2 weeks and vaccine costs are fine. But all the trouble of returning to Thailand after that... ufff...
