Police hunt homeless man accused of sexually assaulting Canadian woman in Bangkok

Daily News reported that Thai police were investigating after a man - believed to be a Thai "ray ron" or tramp - sexually molested a Canadian woman while she was doing some live streaming outside Lumpini Park in the Thai capital Bangkok last Thursday.

 

Sanook said the hobo grabbed the streamer's bottom. 

 

The incident happened at a bus stop near gate 1 of the One Bangkok project at 1.18 pm.

 

Deputy of the metropolitan police acting as spokesman Pol Maj-gen Piya Tawichai said that Lumpini chief Pol Col Jakkrit Chosungnern was on the case as a matter of urgency. 

 

The victim who has yet to file a complaint is also being sought.

The Police clearly have the evidence - they can locate the man and charge him, exactly as if the incident were recorded on CCTV. 

The Police themselves can bring charges, they don’t need the lady.

obviously one of the live stream Sanook 'viewers' reacted and spread widely what they have just seen? The Live Streamer herself probably has not have even known exactly what content actually went out...  

 

Whoever reacted might have actually gone straight to the authorities, in fearing the ladys safety? (and the Police released the footage?)

I too have been sexually assaulted in the streets of Thailand so I know how this poor woman feels.

 

Sometimes many times in one night. These perverts are everywhere unfortunately and the police do nothing to stop it.

 

The worst areas I experienced were sois  6,7 and 8 in Pattaya.

 

Almost impossible to walk down those sois without being assaulted by groups of sexual predators.

A while back, I haven't been to Patts since last March. 

That was just the street sexual assaults.

 

It is worse in the drinking establishments. The women in those places remind me of squirrels.

She is a twitch streamer with a fair amount of followers.  I think that ended up streaming live and sort of went viral.  She acted pretty upset about it.

 

I first saw it on Reddit where it was getting quite a bit of attention.  I can't be bothered to post the video as they end up getting deleted half the time for whatever reason.

I saw this news on TV yesterday, and they played her streaming clip over and over, and you could see the guy coming up from behind carrying a plastic bag and did something to her behind when he walked by.

 

I though he stole something from he bag since I don't understand Thai.

 

They showed it on Channel 3, 7 or ThaiRath, I can not remember.

It was a live Twitch stream. Not sure if those get saved automatically or manually. This one apparently got saved.
