Yeah, I miss the small SCB branch on Jomtien Beach Road at the bottom end of Soi 5. An ideal location to get the ฿800K proof letter when doing a retirement extension. One time they forgot to update the bank book, but it was just a question of strolling back down Soi 5, getting the update done, and then returning to Immigration. Now I'd have to go to the busy branches at Wat Bun or on Thepprasit if something like that happened, which might well mean returning the next day to do the extension.
June 12, 20214 yr If it is closed again, it would be the second time around. There used to be a branch on the corner of Soi 5 and Jomtien Beach road but it closed many years ago. All of a sudden my account was at the branch in the Big C mall across from SabaiLand. Then they opened the Jomtien branch of which is mentioned in this thread.

I would try the branch on South Pattaya road between "Friendship" and "Tuck Com" the Tesco's branch is small and not very helpful in another matter not immigration letter related I went there for, admittedly years ago now so may have improved don't know as I never went back ! ????
