Golden Tree Snake. Harmless, non-venomous to humans. You will see a lot of them in gardens here. They eat geckos, frogs, bird chicks, etc.

 

Seen a few epic Tree Snake - Tokay battles in my own garden.

How about this one ?  very pointy head  like the "oriental whip snake"

but  thicker than "only as thick a s a small finger"    as described in the

Thailandsnakes.com booklet.

Golden Tree Snake - hence the crooked tail for leaping from tree to tree and hooking on.

Good photo.  I like Tokays and we have two in residence now.  Small snakes I put over the wall in to the rice field , my largest cat finds them far too interesting for his own good.

A Red-necked Keelback was one he found , that too went over the wall.

 

 

Snakes are so cool.

 

Don't believe me?    Just try moving around without any limbs.
