Bangkok to Pattaya advice

I am currently 2 days into jail, er ah, ASQ in Bangkok. I am fully vaccinated and plan to settle in Pattaya. I get out July 17 and currently have a hotel in Bangkok through Aug 1. I was then planning on finding a place in Pattaya. My question is what are the requirements for me leaving Bangkok and going to Pattaya? Should I cancel my hotel and come July 17 since I will have been tested 3 times in two weeks? Can I come without a new quarantine since I am fully vaccinated? Thanks for your advice.

cancel hotel as you don't know if they would let you go on that day.

you can book, when your release date is confirmed.

probably better option was phuket sandbox, you will seat on the beach, instead between 4 walls.

no any requirements to go to pattaya, if straight from asg, but there well might be in some 2 weeks time, as bangkok is red zone.

There are currently no restrictions.  I just got back from driving from Bangkok to Ban Chang (and back) on the 7 motorway, and everything was as normal.  Fairly light traffic too, although it was a Sunday morning.

You will be fine as I doubt any new restrictions will take place in Pattaya even if things get worse in Bangkok because they already tried having checkpoints in Pattaya a few months ago to screen people coming from other provinces and they pulled the plug a day later in fear of the workers manning the checkpoint catching Covid.

I am still unsure what I can do especially with the new restrictions. I am fully vaccinated (Moderna), I will have been RT-PCR tested 4 times in the last 17 days (all negative). Can I leave Bangkok next Saturday to move to Pattaya? Would not having a place to live be considered "necessary travel"? Any advice would be appreciated.

Pretty sure you will get a 'covid free' quarantine certificate on hotel/jail departure, (my daughter is currently serving her sentance and has been told she will receive one)..... hopefully you will be able to negotiate any twists and turns with that...............................Then there is always 'private hire' to get to your destination  should official routes prove challenging............................
