If a variant from Central and South America appears, will it be a Mexican Wave?

Maybe, but Mexico is in North America.

The Chinese are talking about a third jab Booster to lift its strength against the Delta Variant

Pretty soon, that will be true for all the other vaccines, too. Maybe in the near future we will need to walk around with a permanent IV connula fixed on our arms for a weekly vaccine shot.

Far from assured. There's some evidence that B immune cell system s have been activated by mRNA vaccines and apparently this system ise very adaptable and a lot better at recognizing covid 19 variants. A\

Also, there is now work being done on something on creating vaccines for those portions of the covid 19 virus that can't change without endangering the viability of the virus.

9,209 = 81.98%

721 = 6.42%

186 = 1.66%

Understandable.  The fellow with the tweezers sorting that pile of 11,233 of those little suckers was probably suffering from the Eye strain.

As to paper mask, here in states wore a thin cotton mask for the entire year. Only time I caught a cold (2x) was when I didn't wear it (after they were not required). That small data sample shows to me that any kind of mask will be helpful.

Colds are coming back after masks come off (wave3.com)

"The downside of ditching masks: the return of colds and other illnesses. As people return to pre-covid habits, doctors say they are opening the window to other things that may have avoided over the year." l.
