Popular Post Marvin Hagler
1. They are essentially telling us here that there will be 10,000 cases per day coming soon. They are just preparing everyone for the news. 2. I very much doubt testing has increased (probably decreased if anything) and therefore these numbers reflect much higher infections rates, probably 20% to 30% which is a terrifying prospect. 3. Vaccines are difficult, testing is easy. I am amazed the government isn’t coming under more fire for lack of testing as there really is no excuse. 4. Next up will be outbreaks in the barracks. Leaked information is imminent in my opinion. 5. Where is the dear leader during all this, the guiding light giving inspiration during these difficult times. 6. Thailand will be the worst hit globally by this and is about to become the new global story like India and Brazil were. 7. This is going to be bad. It's always a bit difficult to say , but i think they should not have Songkran continue this year , as there was a outbreak before . The smaller the infected numbers , the smaller you can do closures or lockdowns , and they already help . With numbers rising , everything gets much more difficult , as it is present everywhere . The longer they wait , the more harsh a lockdown needs to be to turn the tide .

Popular Post Marvin Hagler
After watching all of this unfold I now have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the authorities were lying, covering up or being extremely deceitful during the first wave last year. I do not believe they had the success they claimed to of had. They simply kept reported numbers low through pathetically inadequate testing. Same leaders, same ideas, same plans. Everyone first time round said it was because Thais were somehow genetically different and other reasons. Well why aren’t those reasons working now? Same strains all over the world and same problems. The original variant was fairly mild in comparison and so they got away with the lying and deceit. Problem is that they believed there own lies and so here we are in this mess today.

Many infections in the provinces are the Delta variant, which came after Songkran. i realize these facts will trigger some people, but misinformation is the epidemic’s best friend. Every province in Thailand was infected with the Alpha variant as a direct result of the spread, those are the facts, the delta has only spread since first being detected on 21st May in Bangkok. Shutting down the country during Songkran The third wave of Covid-19, helped spread by government ministers and Thai high society, was well underway as Songkran approached in April. Doctors and policy experts at the Ministry of Public Health urged Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha to shut down the holidays and impose a lockdown ahead of the holidays to stop the spread of the virus. They were rebuffed by the prime minister and his cabinet who worried about the economic consequences of imposing a lockdown and shutting down the Songkran travel and spending spree. The rest, as they say, is history. Covid-19 reached every province in the country. Infection rates reached new heights. People died. The economic consequences of the prolonged third wave is also more devastating than any economic fallout that would have occurred with a Songkran shut down. An utter failure of a decision. https://www.thaienquirer.com/28599/four-decisions-thailand-got-wrong-in-its-covid-19-fight-so-far/ 7
