Phuket Sandbox Pre Paid PCR Tests

Featured Replies

Hi

I am planning on entering Thailand in early August via the Phuket Sandbox program, at present i am in USA working on a ship working and will be here for the next month. I have applied for my Non O multiple entry via the La Consulate, I am fully vaccinated.

I have flights and hotel booked and i have been reading that you need to have PCR tests prepaid to be able to get COE,

I have read that PCR tests need to be book with the hotel booking, however i messaged the hotel which i have booked and they have said i need to book the PCR test via the PSAS. I have searched for this and not had any luck finding anything regarding PSAS, the hotel also said you can get tests done in the Phuket Swab Center, again i searched and have not found any thing regarding Phuket swab center. I did find a PCR clinic in Patong beach that preform the test but their website stated that PCR tests for the Sandbox program are not allowed via them and need to be booked through you booked hotel

Can anyone give me any information regarding the prepaid bookings for the required PCR test need for the sandbox,

Your SHA+ hotel must do that.

They must have agreement with local hospital.

Hotel will bill you 8000 bahts for the 3 PCR test and, once you have paid for them in advance, they will upload your information to SHABA and they will get a confirmation code which they will email to you.

You need that code to apply for COE.
