Has any one been to Pattaya from outside since they introduced the 14 day self isolate? How does it work? Do they trust you to do it or is it enforced?

Would seem to be unenforceable, but perhaps some are doing it. 

Home self-quarantine won't be much different from normal life if the Nation's report is anything to go by:

 

▪︎ People living in dark red provinces (maximum and strictly controlled areas) are not allowed to go outdoors unless necessary.

▪︎ Curfew hours are imposed from 9pm to 4am.

▪︎ Restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores must be closed from 8pm to 4am.

▪︎ Provincial governors must close venues and ban activities that could pose risk of Covid-19 infection for 14 days.

▪︎ Checkpoints will be set up to prevent people living in dark red provinces from inter-province travel.

▪︎ The number of passengers in public transport is limited to 50 per cent (only in dark red provinces).

Oh right. So why is the traffic still so congested on BKK roads? 

My Bangkok cabinet maker is sending a team today to install a new kitchen and other custom cabinets in a house project my partner and I are doing.  Hopefully they will get through.  We'll see.

Unenforceable. Ineffective and Ignored. It's ridiculous. Past time to STOP trying to control an entire population AND stop trying to control the spread of a virus which will find it's way around regardless. The ONLY action to be taken, which this inept government is not trying to take control and totally dropped the ball, is vaccinations.
