Morning gents,

So ive been a dick and forgot to check whether my stamp date was a national holiday or not. Was about to pop down to immigration to extend and realised today is a holiday. Given that its a holiday do we think that immigration will treat my technical 1 day overstay the same as they would if my stamp had fallen on a weekend ? I know traditionally they always say if your stamp falls on a weekend then they give you a pass if you turn up on the Monday, but this is the first time Ive had to hope this is the case.

Im in Ubon by the way, if anyone locally has had the same experience with the office here.

Thanks

If immigration is closed on the day your permit to stay ends you will not be fined for a overstay if you go the first day they are open.
