For those of us who did not buy BTC at $1.15 please suggest an alt coin, the case for it and why?

If someone intends to hold long then they should stay away from "tokens" and use real cryptocurrencies instead.

Actually if anyone had listened at 0.43 (it was actually 0.4278 at time of post) you'd have nicked a few Dollars over the last couple days. Its been bouncing around 0.47 since

and if you bought btc at $60k you would now be down $20k but what do you have? Seems an imaginary currency in an imaginary casino... what exactly would I have if I buy at .47? Nothing tangible - right?

Do NOT invest any money you cannot afford to loose.

Do NOT listen to anyone who says they know the future from any metric, including the ridiculous chart analysis, Max Keiser, etc.

BUT, in my own estimation, I think that ETHERIUM has a way to go.

That $Ren I recommended is up 15% in those few days since. Notice all the altcoins have been making a move this last 24 hours as well

it is still a useless token, which price is rising merely because everything else's price is rising too.

sorry, my bad. I've made this conclusion because the first things I saw when I opened the coinmarketcap page of Ren were "explorer = etherscan.io" and "Ren is a token" in description so I didn't read the details and just closed the page.

However now I've read the details and found out that I was wrong - it is not just another useless token like those promoted by other forum members, but it has some technology behind it - Ren has its own network and it is an analog of Chainlink protocol. So it may have some use in the future and could really bring hundreds of percents profit.

 

_{however I won't buy any, same as Chainlink lol, as I don't believe in these technologies much.}

The old saying "time in the market normally beats timing the market" as regards an entry price normally is a fair comment but my very recent entry on $Ren $XRP and $ADA have been spectacular in very short order. Have top sliced all 3.

 

In normal times that would have paid for a very nice 2 month trip in Thailand.
