Picture: Sanook

Facetious signs taunting the authorities went up in the area of Phanangtung sub-district in the southern Thai province of Phatthalung, reported Sanook.

The one at the top said: Welcome "Khun Jone" - dear criminals - drug pushers and hitmen.

The one underneath called the village a place for narcotics.

Wasana Bunyabunyaa, 70, said it was the handiwork of her son.

She said that there was only drugs in the village and the police did precisely nothing to address this.

Instead she and a group of others were arrested - and refused bail - for training cows for a traditional kind of buffalo fighting event.

The local district chief had the signage removed later on.

Not fair on the boys in brown - they actively and proactively collect the brown envelopes lying about the place - too many litterbugs to deal with - no time for these other petty criminals.

Now they will do something: one charge for defamation and tarnishing the police image coming up

It looks like 'Fat <deleted>' got a job. " Look at me. Don't you love my belly? Och aye!"

Funny.

So much Yaba and Ice in the rural villages.

Mostly sold by the police themselves.
