Lao man arrested for gun possession

PHUKET: Thalang Police have reported arresting a 26-year-old Laotian man in possession of a revolver and seven bullets in Soi Na Yao, Moo 8, Pa Khlok, yesterday (Aug 18).

 

Under the command of Thalang Police Chief Col Pisit Cheurnpetch, the arrest was led by Capt Suchart Luecha at about 4:30pm, Thalang Police reported.

 

Somsak Pimmachan, 26, who was identified as living at a house in Moo 1, Pa Khlok, was found with a .38-calibre handgun as well as two .38 bullets and four 12-gauge shotgun cartridges.

So there were 5 bullets in the revolver?

If they start arresting people for gun possession then 95% of the adult male Thai population is in danger of being arrested. Or does this only apply to foreigners with guns?

Confusing eh? The three shotgun cartridges could not be used in the .38 calibre revolver. He had only two. 38 calibre bullets (no cartridges) so these could not be fired from the revolver wich he probably used as a club????

I wish they would arrest all, but the gun culture here is unstoppable, one good thing to come out of covid is they have not had children's days like this.
