dj230 Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 (edited) I was reading about people having to go do their covid 19 extension 3 days before their visa expired but I was told when I got my 30 day tourist visa extension to go 3 weeks before my visa expired, does anyone know if this is the case or has a website talking about it? Also, what are all the required documents for the 60 day covid 19 extension, I am in bangkok and I think I have to go to the muang thong thani office because I came with a visa exemtion (45 day), then got a 30 day visa extension for tourism purposes. Last time I brought TM7 visa extension terms and conditions agreement TM30 (but they didn't take it) photocopy of passport passport photo Edited August 19, 2021 by dj230
DrJack54 Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 Correct, since you entered visa exempt you will attend MTT for your covid extension. I was under the impression that the 3 day thing you mention was for annual extensions. Someone will advise you about that. I would take along TM30 even though you mention it was not required for your 30 day extension. 1
ubonjoe Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 The 3 days is only required at Chaeng Wattana immigration. Others still use the 30 or 45 day before rule. Muang Thong Thani does not have the 3 day requirement. They do have a limit of 300 a day. See this info graphic. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/012545.jpeg 1 1
