So, do we take our little bottles of mouth wash around with us; wash and spit on the footpath, on the BTS, in restaurants, etc.? How practical!

Give a complimentary bottle to Chinese Tourists ,at least when they spit everywhere where it will be Covid free.

Are these the same people who claimed a cure for covid over 12 months ago, or a different crew?

You can kill a virus.

Called phages, they hijack bacteria by landing on the hapless cells and injecting them with a ream of genetic material. Then, the phages use the commandeered cells to multiply.

Similar to the new coronavirus, these phages are excellent parasites. They can be aggressive, dogged, and seem to act with purpose. Yet, many microbiologists who know viruses best say it's a stretch to call any virus truly alive. And so, they can't be killed — only disarmed, like pulling the plug on an appliance.

There were plenty of small bottles of alcohol based hand wash early in the pandemic....

Have they just discovered Dettol we all know it kills 99% of germs

....Hydrogen Peroxide can do the same job for a fraction of the price and has so many more applications.

...Shhhh!

Is this so hard? Any mouthwash with a defatting or degreasing agent (sodium laureth sulfate) would breakdown the lipoprotein (fatty acid) virus membranes encasing it rendering it harmless. This is why we have been vigorously washing our hands for almost two years.

How much do we have to drink to be covid free by 2023 ?

...sounds to me like they've given up on mass vaccinations and are going for treating symptoms.

The faculties of Dentistry and Tropical Medicine at Thailand’s Mahidol University claim to have jointly developed a mouthwash formula which is 99% effective at killing the COVID-19 virus in the mouth, preventing it from replicating in human cells.

Amazing Thailand

Chang is my usual go to mouth wash.

Thailand is becoming more and more like a Laurel og Hardy show.

Take salt add it in water, clear your mouth with it and hey you are good to go even with Corona Viruses, easy one know this since early 2020. Maybe the Uni will invent bottles and plate sooner. Wow.... Amazing.... ;-) P.S. any good mouth wash would do the same job.

Wash your mouth out with soap and water gotta be  cheaper  lol

So you use the mouthwash and return a negative test!!

The rest of the body is possibly positive.

Trolling image removed.

How do you use this if wearing a mask? Are straws included? Then it will be banded in some turtle friendly countries.

Even easier just get a packet of 10B Mybacin Zinc and suck on couple of those .. will disable any of those nasty virus thingies lurking around there ..

Quote from Thai PBS News

Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saranya Tancharoen, chief of the pharmacology department and a member of the mouthwash research team, said that it contains the right and safe dose of hydrogen peroxide and other compounds which do not irritate the inside of the mouth.

She said that the mouthwash has undergone laboratory controlled human trials among patients in the dental hospital, claiming that it is 99.9% effective in preventing the spread of coronavirus in the body, by breaking down the fatty layer of the virus, thus deactivating it.

“For instance, if there are 100,000 viruses in the mouth, this innovation can reduce the virus load to just 41,” she claimed, adding that the new mouthwash will be put on trial in field hospitals and other treatment facilities.

Hydrogen peroxide?????   Does it whiten your hair as well?   555

Only 100,000 viruses in the mouth...I would have thought millions.

And down to 41....do they count each one individually?

Don't forget Thailand got rid of Ebola too.

Stopped going there when they failed to spot a problem in a tooth even after x rays. Went to the local even cheaper dentist and he found the problem, small hole. My local dentist has been using mouth wash as soon as you sit down since last year.
