I attempted to make reservation for a ASQ hotels in Pattaya I filed all the information they required 4 days ago and have not got a response back yet. Same with the COE I applied 4 days ago and give them all the information and no reply yet. As anyone been through this process and maybe give me a pointer or two

When I did my ASQ reservation earlier this year, the hotel replied back to me in roughly a day and the reservation went rather smoothly . If it's been 4 days I'd suggest sending the hotel a email or even a call or just trying another hotel.

As for the COE, IIRC I needed to show them my ASQ confirmation (along with medical insurance and airplane info) before the COE could be issued.

I booked my ASQ hotel in Agoda. 

Cheaper than in the official ASQ hotel list and instant booking as usually in Agoda, Booking or any hotel booking website.

I did ASQ twice and am now in the Phuket Sandbox. 

 

Unless something has changed, your Agoda booking is sufficient for ASQ - there is nothing more required from the Hotel (my last ASQ was booked through agoda).

 

For the CoE application:

After making the online ‘phase 1’ part of the application you should have received ‘Pre-Approval’ (with a 6 digit reference code) via e-mail - this is usually quite quick (on the same day). 

 

Did you apply for CoE on the MFA Website ? https://coethailand.mfa.go.th

 

(you didn’t e-mail the Embassy, right? - if you did, they won’t reply)
