A problem has occurred along the Asia Africa Europe (AAE-1) cable, affecting internet services in Vietnam at a time Covid-19 restrictions force many to study and work from home.

Network operators said Monday a disruption has occurred along the S1H branch of the cable, affecting 20 percent of international Internet connectivity.

Unfortunately, poor audio and video communication is the main reason they refuse to educate students online. You have to choose a good learning platform, and you have to have good high-speed Internet.

The cable just needs to be repaired or rerouted until it can be fixed.

Internet speeds and WiFi are generally very good in Vietnam.

Our childrens school here in Thailand switches in-between Zoom and Meet.

Audio is lousy because the School chooses to use the free version, otherwise it works ok.

Definitely not as good as in school learning.
