MrJ2U Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Air Bnb is pretty pricey when you add the taxes. Long stays with no breakfast or daily maids isn't really a good fit for me. I'd rather stay at a resort. Half the vacation is to get away from cleaning and cooking. 2

And the AirBnB properties (in condos at least) tend to have little or no management control. Quite possible to find yourself in a hell hole. 2

They wanted 1500.00 baht a day extra. 2

The beach condo in Hua Hin stay seemed like holiday makers only. The Santorini, next to the Anantara Hua Hin. Hundreds of condos. I think there were maybe 40 people there. The next visit we decided to stay at the Anantara. Very nice. Great breakfast! 5 star resort. That area of Hua Hin (Makro area) hasn't the best beaches though. I prefer the Hilton or Marriott. I don't I'll be using Air BnB again. Some Thai owners tend to neglect there properties. 1
Stargeezr Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Lot of cheaper Hotels and guest houses to stay at, than the Hilton or Marriot, which are among the most expensive places in Hua Hin to stay at. I am wondering just how many of the guest houses are still around, since COVID, I imagine that there are many that have closed at least temporary. Geezer
